Sandra Thier has been presenting news since June 2003. First of all as the news anchor of the first private TV channel in Austria, and since 2005 in Germany at RTL II. Highlights include the live reports of the Pope's visit in Cologne and the federal election in 2009 from Berlin. Additionally, she made the headlines with political talks on the Austrian Presidential election in 2004.
The lady from Graz was trained at ORF in Vienna, where she also studied at the University of Applied Sciences and successfully completed a course in Communications with Honours.
Sandra Thier was nominated two times for the Austrian TV Prize, once for the Leading Ladies Award.
